Bottom Creek

Bot­tom Creek is a family’s dream to hon­or their grand­fa­ther and share their long-time fam­i­ly home and its stun­ning nat­ur­al beau­ty with oth­er fam­i­lies. The lush, rolling prop­er­ty boasts 550 acres of land includ­ing dense wood­lands, open prairies, and a lake that spans over 100 acres, divid­ing the prop­er­ty into a hand­ful of dif­fer­ent pic­turesque set­tings. When Bot­tom Creek opens it will be a home for activ­i­ties open to all ages, a place to grab a bite or a drink with fam­i­ly, and a chance to pause and take in the beau­ty of rur­al Michi­gan. But ulti­mate­ly it will be a place where mem­o­ries can be made that last a lifetime.

Vision

The vision for Bot­tom Creek is to craft a fam­i­ly-friend­ly des­ti­na­tion for recre­ation and out­door adven­ture — a spot that pro­vides a feel­ing of escap­ing ​“up north,” only an hour from the Detroit greater area. Imag­ine a work­ing farm, a heavy tim­ber farm­house archi­tec­ture, and prac­ti­cal­ly unlim­it­ed options for recre­ation. Bot­tom Creek will be a warm, rus­tic out­post offer­ing activ­i­ties includ­ing hik­ing, pad­dle­board­ing, moun­tain bik­ing and more. It will offer cab­ins and host events like hayrides, farm­ers mar­kets, and clas­sic car shows, and a farm to table restau­rant and brew­pub will serve up sea­son­al offer­ings high­light­ing region­al ingredients.
